Welcome
Thank you for your interest in our apartments.
Atmosphere here at Glove Hollow is everything. This property is our home too and we take pride in how it looks and how we run it. We are a small community who looks after each other yet your privacy never lacks. We are enough away from the college life of downtown Plymouth yet close enough you might be tempted to walk on a nice day.
Some tell us they just feel comfortable here. Parents of young adults just starting out and children of older tenants feel this is the right place to live for many reasons. It’s not by accident. We screen our prospective tenants so that we have good neighbors. We have a good rental agreement to keep problems from starting. Children love the play areas out of sight of the road. Feel free to give us your name to be placed on a waiting list.
Best Regards, Mike & Karen Ahern

History
My family have rented rooms and apartments since the early 1900’s. The middle part of the old farmhouse was added on around 1912 as a rooming house for the men who were building Rte 3 in Plymouth. My dad Omer Sr. converted the farmhouse into apartments over the years. Living in an upstairs apartment while providing an apartment for his folks, Omer Sr. and wife Rosa started a family in Plymouth before moving to Unity, NH in 1956 to take a job for the county government. Omer Sr. divided the building into 4 apartments. In the 1960’s Omer built a fruit stand for his Uncle Sony Jacques to run. In the mid 1970’s Omer drew up plans to convert the open space stand to a 3 unit apartment building. The farmhouse had a 3 bay attached garage built by Omer in 1945+- which Michael converted to a 2 story retail Christmas Tree sales area in 1997. In 1998 a bath and Kitchen were added to make it a self contained living unit. More renovations in 2007 made the 2 story unit a 4 bedroom home and in 2008 an updated Kitchen and fully renovated downstairs. The cider mill building a 14’-30’ building that was originally built in the 1960’s to the south of the fruit stand within the front yard was moved by omer and his sons to where it is now. Son Michael converted the building to a 1 bed apartment in 1999. The old retail building “the bungalow” was used to sell Christmas trees from the late 1970’s-1989 was converted to a 1 bedroom apt in 2002. The shop building was built in 2002 a 30’x50’ building which provided 1 studio apartments. A New entrance was added in 2005 which provided the second year round studio apartment. The 4 bedroom cape home was built in 2002/03. In November 2006 the goat shed was added. In Oct 2007 the tree house was built.
